Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on the night shift in Prescott, Arizona. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week split into 12-hour nights, and includes travel benefits.

Ideal candidates will hold an AZ or compact RN license, have at least 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience, and be proficient in telemetry interpretation. Cerner EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience.
• Proficiency in reading telemetry strips and post-curgical/medical telemetry care.
• Cerner EMR experience recommended due to limited orientation.

Responsibilities

• Care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the 3rd Floor Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation each shift.
• Monitor patients with CHF, COVID, respiratory issues, diabetes, post-cath, and telemetry patients.
• Assist with Diltiazem/Cardizem drips at a set rate; not titrated.
