Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Observation Unit travel assignment in Chandler, AZ, with night shifts totaling 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts. Start ASAP for a 13-week duration.

Required are an active AZ or compact RN license, current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and telemetry experience; Cerner experience is preferred. Navy blue scrubs are required. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of application; pending licenses not accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience within the past 6 months.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 16-bed Observation Unit, which functions as an extension of the ER.
• Patient population includes chest pain rule out MI, post heart cath without sheaths, stable pre-CABG, and post-interventional procedures.
• No ventilators, bipap, or cpap used in the unit.
• Night shifts with a requirement to work every 3rd weekend.
• Possible floating to any tele or medsurg floor and to a sister facility.
• Cerner is the charting system used in the unit and Cerner experience is preferred.
