American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a California RN license, EPIC EMR experience, and night shift availability.
- Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week), 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty, with experience within the last 3 months
- Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support a safe, healing environment
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
- All required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
- No radius restriction applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
