Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN (telemetry-focused).
• Current valid RN license in Georgia compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN/NIHSS certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administers medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and communicates changes to the team.
• Responds to life-threatening emergencies following protocols.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
