Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for a 14-week assignment in Augusta, GA. The RN will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, in the PCU (Progressive Care Unit) handling stepdown patients. Start date is 10/26/2026, with benefits and competitive pay typical for travel nursing.

The role requires an RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of stepdown experience. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN is required.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.

Aufgaben

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac-related procedures and exams.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients; notifies supervisor of status.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
