Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for a PCU - Progressive Care Unit assignment in Cumming, GA. This 13-week travel role requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, with start planned for 10/26/2026. The position offers competitive pay and benefits for traveling nurses.

The role requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license in GA, BLS and ACLS certifications. PCCN and NIHSS certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification (preferred)
• NIHSS Certification (preferred)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position (may vary)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
