Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the PCU/Stepdown unit in Cleveland, Ohio. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, coordinating with physicians, and educating patients and families. Requires 18 months PCU/Stepdown experience and an active Ohio license or compact license, plus BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent PCU/Stepdown nursing experience.
• Active Ohio nursing license or active compact state license required.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications necessary.
• Reference from a managerial role in the specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
