Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to less acute settings.

The RN will administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Eligible candidates hold a compact license, with at least 2 years in Step Down or Telemetry, including open heart surgery exposure,

Qualifications

• Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission.
• At least 2 years of experience in Step Down or Telemetry units, including surgical telemetry or open heart surgery experience.
• IV skills and NIHSS certification are required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Epic EHR experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide care for cardiac and telemetry patients, including post-op open heart patients.
• Support chest tube management, blood product administration, cardioversion and defibrillation as needed.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and participate in post-operative care per unit protocol.
