American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a 40-bed inpatient rehab hospital in Texas. The role requires IRF and med-surg experience and an active TX or Compact RN license with AHA certifications.

You will work day shifts 0645-1915, every other weekend, caring for adults 18+ with stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, amputations and orthopedic/post-surgical conditions. Cerner EHR is used; travel housing and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Formación

• AHA certifications required.
• Minimum 2–3 years RN experience required.
• Inpatient Rehab and Medical-Surgical experience required.
• CRRN certification preferred but not required.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring IRF and med-surg experience with a TX or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required

• Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience required
• Inpatient Rehab and Medical-Surgical experience required
• CRRN certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit caring for adult patients 18 and older recovering from stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic/post-surgical conditions (hips, knees)
• Patient ratios of 6-7 patients per nurse
• Day shift schedule, 0645-1915
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required between main nursing station and North nursing station as needed
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Provide direct nursing care to rehab patients recovering from stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic surgeries
• Royal blue scrubs required with closed-toe, non-slip shoes (no crocs)
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
