Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital position in Iowa. Requires 2+ years rehab nursing and an active IA or Compact RN license. Work in a 50-bed facility with day shifts and every-other-weekend rotations on a 12-week assignment.

Rapid start within 7–10 days; must live more than 60 miles away and not be a LifePoint permanent staff member. Benefits include high pay and bonuses, Day 1 health insurance, a 401(k), weekly payroll, and travel/licensure

Qualifications

• Active RN license IA or Compact required.
• Minimum 2 years of rehab nursing experience required.
• Active Nursys licensure required at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Required to work every other weekend.
• 12-week assignment.
• Deliver comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance due to rapid response need.
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time.
