American Traveler is hiring an RN - Psychiatric for a pediatric mental health unit in Minnesota. The ideal candidate holds MN RN licensure, BLS, N95 fit testing, and at least one year of pediatric psychiatric nursing experience.

The position features 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930), a 3x12 schedule, every-other-weekend work, and travel-friendly benefits including housing allowance, licensure reimbursement, and per diem options.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• N95 fit testing required.
• Minimum one year of pediatric psychiatric/mental health nursing experience.
• Professional certifications such as ANCC Mental Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, or Holistic Health are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric psychiatric/mental health unit caring for infants, children, and adolescents.
• 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930), 3x12 schedule.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Accountable for independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members.
