Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for PreOp/PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Sioux Falls, SD. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and travel-friendly benefits.

You will assess patients before and after anesthesia, prepare them for procedures, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality care. The ideal candidate has one year of Pre/Post-Op RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively and review medical history
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate about procedures
• Monitor patients post-operatively and manage recovery and pain
• Administer prescribed medications per nursing protocol
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
• Collaborate with surgical team for comprehensive patient care
• Provide patient and family education for discharge and recovery
