Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Sioux City, IA. Start date 10/12/2026. 36 hours/week, 12-hour day shifts. Travel employment with competitive benefits and a dedicated clinical team.

The PACU RN will assess recovery, administer post-operative care, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient discharge and continuous care. Strong state RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• One year of PACU RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and monitor vitals.
• Administer medications per PACU protocols.
• Document assessments and recovery progress in records.
• Collaborate with surgical team for post-operative care.
• Provide discharge instructions and family education.
