Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU for a 13-week assignment in Yankton, SD. The role focuses on pre- and post-anesthesia care, with 40 hours per week, days shift, and a travel employment type.

The ideal candidate has 1 year Pre/Post-Op RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS. ACLS and PALS are preferred, with licensure reimbursement and comprehensive travel benefits offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively and identify risks.
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate about procedures.
• Monitor post-operative patients for complications and manage recovery.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per technique.
• Document assessments and recovery progress in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team for comprehensive care.
