Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 13-week travel assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role offers the opportunity to impact patient lives while working with a dedicated clinical team and competitive compensation.

You will deliver specialized perioperative care, assess patients pre- and post-surgery, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN or equivalent.
• Current RN license in Iowa or compact state with eligibility.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess pre-operative status and review medical history.
• Prepare patients for surgery and provide post-anesthesia care.
• Monitor, document, and respond to vital signs and recovery progression.
• Administer medications per approved nursing techniques.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for safe perioperative care.
