Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for its mobile staffing program. RNs will fill short and long-term assignments across MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center and regional sites, with premium pay and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include floating across locations, following the nursing process, and collaborating with care teams to improve outcomes. Prior experience in Med-Surg, Tele, or PCU is preferred, with specialty credentials as required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of Med Surg, Tele, or PCU experience; 2+ years for other specialties.
• Required credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS via American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital locations/regions.
• Adhere to professional standards: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Work independently within license and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive quality and improvement.
