Job summary

FirstChoice RN travel positions with Trinity Health offer premium compensation and maximum scheduling flexibility. RNs are deployed to fill short and long-term assignments across the system with both nationwide and regional opportunities.

Responsibilities include floating to various units/sites, applying nursing process, and maintaining licensure credentials. Excellent benefits and per diem options accompany flexible shifts, including night positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including CCU, Surgical Services, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Demonstrate standard elements of nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Be adaptable to new responsibilities and changing priorities.
• Respect cultural differences while managing competing priorities.
