Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse to fill short and long-term assignments across the health system. This role offers premium compensation, maximum scheduling flexibility, and opportunities to travel regionally or nationwide in a mobile staffing program.

Responsibilities include floating to various units; following professional practice standards; collaborating with stakeholders; and maintaining readiness for new assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty area (eg ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate in line with professional practice standards.
• Act independently within license, scope, and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
• Be adaptable and ready to take on new responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities across settings.
