Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. seeks an experienced RN to join a high‑acuity unit in Houston, TX. Must hold BLS and PALS, ACLS preferred. The role covers surgical and medical patients with procedures such as chest tube management, lumbar punctures, and seizure monitoring, with neuro/ortho/gen surg services available.

Floating to NICU level 1–2 as needed, with a supportive team and a standard 4 weekend schedule. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• ACLS certification is preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures listed for the unit including chest tube management and lumbar punctures.
• Provide care for patients across NICU level 1–2 settings as assigned.
• Collaborate with full team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Cleft palate repair, appy, chest tube management, lumbar punctures, Seizure management, noninvasive cardiology only, no neurosurgery or stroke, no removal foreign body from airway Currently have services for neuro, ortho, gen surg, thoracic cases such as thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, pectus bar implants.

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue
