Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a PICU travel nurse for a 3x12 night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) in South Carolina. The assignment includes weekend coverage, holiday requirements, and potential schedule changes. On-call is not required, and guaranteed hours may be canceled every two weeks.

Candidates need at least 2 years in PICU, with ECMO/CRRT experience preferred. Active SC or compact license, BLS, and PALS are required. Flu vaccination is expected; COVID-19 not required. EPIC charting is used.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PICU RN experience.
• ECMO and/or CRRT experience preferred.
• Active SC RN license or Compact Multi-State license; BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in PICU with patient ratios 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 based on acuity.
• Adhere to shift schedule: 3x12s nights; participate in weekend/holiday coverage as required.

Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule

Holiday Requirement: Yes, if contract falls during holiday periods

On-Call: Not required

Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks

Float Policy: May float within scope to meet facility needs

Patient ratio :1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity (ICU and Stepdown mix)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of PICU RN experience

Preferred: ECMO, CRRT experience

Certifications:

BLS (AHA only)

PALS (AHA only)

Active SC RN license or Compact Multi-State RN license

First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

Block Scheduling: May be requested; manager approval required

Local Radius: 60 miles

Locals Accepted: Yes

RTO Policy: All time off must be submitted with profile; subject to unit approval

Charting System: EPIC

Emergency Response: Contractors may be assigned to hurricane response teams (June-Nov, peak Aug-Sept)
