Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pre-Op RN for a 13-week assignment in South Dakota. Must hold an active SD or compact RN license and current BLS certification. ACLS preferred; flu vaccination documented with no personal or medical declinations accepted.

Work in the Pre-Post Operative unit of a hospital, delivering pre- and post-operative nursing care. Typical schedule is 5x8 hours with on-call nights, weekends and holidays; generous housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and

• ACLS certification preferred
• Flu vaccination documentation required with no personal or medical declinations accepted; religious declinations subject to facility review

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pre-Post Operative unit of a hospital setting
• Primarily day shift schedule with night, weekend, and holiday on-call involvement
• 5x8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included in shift
• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to surgical patients
• No previous permanent employment with Avera or Sanford Health systems allowed
• Facility does not accommodate blocked scheduling or specific scheduling requests
