Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Pediatric ICU RN with at least 2 years PICU experience for a travel assignment in Ohio. Active RN license (OH or compact) and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required.

Experience with CICU exposure and Epic charting is preferred. You must have a supervisor reference from the past 2 years and be fully vaccinated for this assignment. The role is in a PICU setting at a children's hospital with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios, day shifts 7:00–19:00, and on-site

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years PICU experience essential, with CICU exposure.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Supervisor reference from past 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting within a children's hospital.
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00.
• Float to CICU (CVPICU) and potentially to the Liberty campus.
• Every other weekend (EOW) required.
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated for weekends only (Fri-Sun) if willing to work all weekends.
• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
• First-time travelers considered if they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement.
• Minimum of 2 holidays required to be worked during the assignment.
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days total.
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated with no exceptions.
• Previous CCHMC employees are ineligible for contract positions for 1 year from their termination date.
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and subject to local pay rates.
• An additional background check and fingerprinting will be required onsite on the first day of the assignment.
