Banner Desert Medical Center is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for a 13-week assignment in Mesa, AZ. The role requires extensive pediatric open-heart surgical experience and a strong background in pediatric cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, general surgery, and Level I trauma cases.

Formación

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• Pediatric open-heart surgical experience required.
• Strong pediatric cardiac nursing background.
• Experience with pediatric neurological, orthopedic, and general surgical cases.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing cardiovascular and other surgical procedures.
• Assist with pediatric open-heart surgeries and complex cardiac procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and maintain patient safety throughout surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary surgical teams.
• Support pediatric cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, general surgery, and trauma cases.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection prevention standards.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols.
