Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU in Rapid City, SD for a 16-week assignment. You will provide stepdown care, monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Preferred PCCN/NIHSS certifications. 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week, travel employment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety; documents status.
• Responds to emergencies per protocols.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health.
