Job summary

TotalMed RN is actively seeking a PCU travel nurse in Rapid City, South Dakota. The position is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. Start date is 09/21/2026; employment type is Travel.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and hold ACLS and BLS certifications. As a PCU nurse, you will monitor cardiac and vital information, react to changes, titrate medications, and perform tasks like dressing changes, IV starts, and catheter insertions.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required or preferred.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside care for PCU patients with close monitoring.
• Stabilize cardiac patients and implement care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Monitor patient status using vital signs equipment and alarms.
• Assist with IVs, dressings, catheters, and equipment management.
