Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for a 13-week PCU assignment in Rapid City, SD. The role offers 12-hour day shifts with 48 hours per week, and competitive pay with comprehensive benefits.

The Stepdown RN will monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS; PCCN preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; detects abnormalities and responds.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Observes patient status and communicates changes to the supervisor/physician.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
