Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Overland Park, KS. You will care for patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, with telemetry monitoring and cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities include monitoring rhythms, administering meds, collaborating with the team, and educating patients while following safety protocols. Requires 1 year Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current valid RN license in state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• PCCN certification preferred where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and interpret telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a cardiac focus.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and exams.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and assess cardiac status; notify physicians as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
