Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Kansas City, MO. You will provide care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, focusing on telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and safe patient interventions.

The position requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, MO RN license, and BLS/ACLS. Travel pay package includes comprehensive benefits and supportive clinical teams throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in MO.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, rhythms, and vitals; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing plan.
• Assist with procedures and patient care in telemetry units.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and discharge plans.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and documentation standards.
