Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring and frequent interventions.

The RN must have 1 year of stepdown experience, current KY license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel pay, benefits, and dedicated clinical support are provided by Fusion.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in telemetry units.
• Documents patient status and notifies physicians as needed.
• Responds to life-saving situations per cardiac protocols.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health.
