Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Festus, MO. You will provide care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and rapid response.

The role requires one year of Stepdown experience, MO RN license, BLS and ACLS. Travel benefits include comprehensive pay, day-one insurance, and dedicated recruiter support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current Valid RN license in MO and compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and telemetry monitoring.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
