Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Roanoke, VA. This role offers night shifts, 12-hour days, and a supportive clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

As a travel RN in the PCU, you will monitor patients transitioning from ICU, manage complex conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry data, vital signs, and responds to changes.
• Administers medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques.
• Assists physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Documents nursing history and patient status; maintains patient safety.
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and discharge planning.
