Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 20-week assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia. The role focuses on stepdown care with 12-hour night shifts, offering travel benefits and comprehensive support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN (or equivalent).
• Current RN license in good standing per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and patient rhythms.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with cardiac focus.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document patient conditions and respond to cardiac status changes.
• Respond to life-threatening cardiac emergencies per policies.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
