Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The role focuses on progressive care with telemetry monitoring and cardiac-focused care within a hospital setting.

Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications may be considered. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer prescribed medications and cardiac-focused treatments.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing assessments and patient history accurately.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Uphold confidentiality and infection control standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
