Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN for a 13-week PCU assignment in Marquette, MI. You’ll provide Stepdown care, monitor telemetry, administer meds, and collaborate with the team across shifts, emphasizing patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Travel benefits include competitive pay, day-one benefits, PTO accrual, and 24/7 recruiter support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• PCCN Certification (preferred).
• NIHSS Certification (preferred).
• Other certifications and licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs, and responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with cardiac focus.
• Prepares equipment and assists during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety; documents assessments and interventions.
• Educates patients on cardiac health and risk factors; collaborates with the care team.
• Adheres to infection control and hospital safety guidelines.
