Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for the PCU in Yakima, WA to join our stepdown team on a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. Start Date: 11/02/2026. Shift: 12-hour days.

The ideal candidate has one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS. You will monitor telemetry, administer medications, and assist in cardiac procedures while coordinating with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry data and responds to rhythm abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.
