Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Yuma, AZ. The role focuses on telemetry care, cardiac monitoring, and coordination with the care team to ensure safe patient transitions from ICU to step-down units.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of stepdown experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of status.
