Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU (Progressive Care Unit) in Spokane, WA for a 13-week assignment. Start date 10/19/2026. You will provide Stepdown care, monitor cardiac patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an RN license, 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, and active BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and dedicated clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed cardiac medications and treatments
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac procedures
• Maintains telemetry patient comfort and safety
• Documents patient status and notifies clinicians of changes
• Responds to life-threatening cardiac emergencies
• Records nursing history and assessments
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care
• Adheres to infection control and safety protocols
