Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Thornton, Colorado, offering 36 hours per week on a 12-hour days schedule.

The Stepdown RN will monitor telemetry, administer meds, and collaborate with the care team to deliver patient-centered care.

Requirements include 1 year RN Stepdown experience, active RN license in Colorado, BLS and ACLS, travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures
• Maintains patient comfort and safety and documents status
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care
• Adheres to hospital safety protocols and infection control
