Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Travel Nurse RN PCU in Springfield, MA for a 13-week assignment. This 36-hour per week position features 12-hour day shifts in a stepdown/unit setting, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license in MA, BLS and ACLS. PCCN or NIHSS certifications are preferred. You will monitor telemetry, administer meds, collaborate with the care team, and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Current valid RN license in MA
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities
• Administers medications and treatments per nursing protocols
• Aids physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations
• Maintains telemetry patient comfort and safety
• Documents nursing assessments and patient status
• Educates patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
• Adheres to safety and infection control guidelines
