Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for the PCU in Boston, MA. This 13-week assignment in a Stepdown unit offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, giving you hands-on experience in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond promptly.
• Administers medications and treatments per nursing protocol with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and notifies supervisor of significant changes.
• Responds to life-threatening events following hospital protocols for cardiac care.
• Educates patients and families about cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the care team for comprehensive telemetry patient care.
