Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Clyde, NC. The Stepdown RN will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced travel environment.

Requirements include one year of Stepdown experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS preferred; travel benefits and competitive pay provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and cardiac rhythms, responding to abnormalities and status changes.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments following nursing standards with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; documents observations and interventions.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry patient care.
