Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU with a 13-week assignment in Charlotte, NC. You will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift providing Stepdown care, transitioning patients from ICU to medical-surgical units.

The role requires an RN license, BLS and ACLS with at least one year of Stepdown RN experience. Benefits include travel pay, day-one medical coverage, and 24/7 recruiter support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac procedures.
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Document patient status and communicate with supervisor or physician.
• Respond to emergencies following nursing standards and protocols.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiate patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with safety standards.
