Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN to join the Stepdown unit in Lewes, DE for a 13-week assignment. This role requires 1 year of Stepdown experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and offers a 12-hour night shift schedule with 36 hours per week.

Travel compensation includes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with access to support from a dedicated clinical team throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and vital signs, respond to abnormalities
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards
• Assist with procedures and examinations, prepare equipment
• Ensure patient comfort and safety in telemetry units
• Document patient status and notify physician of changes
• Respond to cardiac emergencies following protocols
• Document nursing history and assessments
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety
• Adhere to hospital infection control and safety policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
