Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Concord, NH, in a PCU/step-down unit. The 13-week contract starts 10/19/2026, with 36 guaranteed hours weekly and 12-hour night shifts on a 12x3 schedule, in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include direct adult patient care, medication administration, monitoring and documentation, rounds participation, and discharge planning, with EMR use and potential float to nearby units. Travel support is provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NH or compact NH
• BLS and ACLS certifications current
• 2+ years of PCU/step-down or adult inpatient experience
• EMR experience; Cerner experience preferred but not required
• Skills checklist for PCU; ability to work 12-hour night shifts and travel assignments
• Up-to-date resume including travel experience; RTO requests at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults in PCU/step-down setting; monitor clinical status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments; assess and document responses
• Monitor vital signs, labs, imaging results; assist with invasive procedures as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans; participate in rounds and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR; ensure patient safety and infection control standards
• Coordinate with case management and ancillary staff; facilitate transfers and education; float to nearby units as needed
