Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel PCU assignment in Concord, NH. The 13-week contract starts 10/19/2026, offering 36 guaranteed hours per week and 12-hour night shifts (12x3) in an inpatient PCU/step-down setting.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, med administration, monitoring vitals, collaborating with the care team, accurate EMR documentation, and coordinating with case management for transfers; NH license and BLS/ACLS required, with Cerner EMR experience

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NH or a compact license (NURSYS verification).
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• 2+ years of recent PCU/step-down or comparable adult inpatient experience.
• EMR experience; Cerner experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults in the PCU/step-down setting, monitoring clinical status and responding to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments; assess and document patient responses.
• Monitor vital signs, labs, imaging results, and hemodynamic status; assist with invasive procedures as ordered.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans; participate in rounds and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR; ensure patient safety and infection control standards.
• Coordinate with case management and ancillary staff; facilitate patient transfers and education; float to nearby units as needed.
