Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour days, in a Progressive Care Unit. Start date is January 4, 2027, and involves a travel employment arrangement.

The ideal candidate will have stepdown RN experience, and hold current RN licensure with BLS and ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and intervene as needed.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments, focusing on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
