Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. This PCU RN role is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, employed as Travel.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and are prepared for the demands of a fast-paced step-down environment. Start date is 01/04/2027 and pay packages include a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions.
