Job summary

TotalMed RN in Tucson, AZ is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for the Progressive Care Unit. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications. You will monitor patients, perform IV starts, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient status.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or able to obtain
• 1–2 years of acute care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs
• Administer and monitor prescribed medications and report adverse reactions
• Monitor equipment and interpret displays for patient status
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data
