Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for a 13-week Stepdown assignment in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate has one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

This travel role features 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and competitive pay with comprehensive benefits and dedicated clinical support.

You will monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety and documents clinical status.
• Responds to life-threatening situations following established protocols.
• Educates patients and coordinates with the care team for ongoing needs.
