Job summary

TravelNurseSource is partnering with Fusion Medical Staffing to place a Stepdown RN in Omaha, Nebraska for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts, at a facility in Omaha, NE, with ASAP start and weekly pay between $2,025 and $2,154.

The role focuses on telemetry and cardiac care for patients stepping down from ICU, requiring strong assessment, monitoring, and collaboration with a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in the state of Nebraska or multiprovider license.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, focusing on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac procedures.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and discharge planning.
• Document patient status and communicate changes to the team.
